Don't Forget To Breathe Foundation
Moved a 34-episode podcast off Buzzsprout subdomains onto a foundation-owned domain. Every share now builds their SEO instead of someone else's.
Reclaiming the network.
Don't Forget To Breathe is a foundation for parents navigating life after child loss. Co-hosts Bruce Barker and Kristin Glenn had built a 34-episode podcast over the previous years — each episode living at a Buzzsprout subdomain URL.
Every time someone shared an episode, that share built link equity for Buzzsprout — not for the foundation. The audience was growing. The platform was reaping the SEO.
They wanted their network back.
The handover, line by line.
- A foundation-owned domain. Every episode now lives at the foundation's URL with proper podcast schema markup for Google.
- 34 episodes migrated. Every existing episode imported, with consistent titles, descriptions, transcripts, and audio embedded.
- Brand-aligned design. Palette extracted from the foundation's logo (#A8332A / #1B2A56 / #E8B83F) — visual continuity with their existing materials.
- 301 redirects in place. Old Buzzsprout URLs route to the new pages, so existing links keep working.
- SEO foundation. Episode schema, sitemap, search-engine submission. Indexable, findable, theirs.
Live since May 18, 2026.
Every share, every backlink, every search result now builds equity in the foundation's domain — not someone else's platform. The 34-episode catalog is a single integrated resource at one URL the foundation owns, with audio still hosted on Buzzsprout where it makes sense.
The network is theirs again. So is what they grow from here.
“Every share used to send people to someone else’s website. Now every share sends them home.”
